NON IMPLEMENTATION OF ETLS BY IVORY COAST CUSTOMS

 

Nigerian products under the ETLS have been denied preferential treatment in Ivory Coast
This was contained in a circular no. 1286 dated 19-8-2005 issued by the Ivorian Customs suspending the application of preferential treatment on imports from Nigeria under ETLS, thereby subjecting Nigerian products to tariff similar to those applicable to any non-ECOWAS country.

PAYMENT OF OCEAN FREIGHT ON NON-OIL EXPORT

 

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has requested that any exporter facing freight payment problem should apply to them for consideration, through the bank that processed the export transactions.
